Blogger Profiles: A Daisy Chain Dream

We catch up with the lovely Laura Budd from fashion blog A Daisy Chain Dream about her stylish blog, being recognised in H&M, and her love for our sparkly hair jewellery!
Tell us about yourself, and what made you go into blogging?
My name is Laura and I’ve been a blogger for about three years now. I’ve had online journals for much longer than that, but was inspired to start a blog by the likes of now global blogs such as WishWishWish and Style Bubble; there was always a real sense of community about the blogging world that has only got stronger in recent years.
Tell us more about A Daisy Chain Dream...
A Daisy Chain Dream started as a fashion blog but rapidly became a more personal outlet. Over the last 6 months I have worked a bit on expanding in to new directions with some more thought provoking posts which give readers a chance to offer advice and experiences as well as a regular food review section to go along side the outfits and fashion wish lists. It’s basically a hard copy of what goes on inside my head.
What have been your biggest blog achievements to date?
It’s lovely to be recognised and contacted by companies about features and getting invited to events! It’s something I never dreamed would happen. On a more personal level the biggest blog achievements would be the documentation of growth as a person and the phenomenal support readers have shown. It really goes to show what an impact a blog can have on someone’s life and what a powerful network it is.
The most surreal “achievement” was being recognised by a reader in H&M!

Describe your own personal style?
Ever changing! One week I wear nothing but floral dresses, but the next week you’ll find outfit posts regularly featuring trousers, trainers and little makeup. I don’t think I could pin my style down in to any one, or two categories as it does change so often. I’ll always stay true to what fits and what suits me rather than trends which is probably why it’s so unpredictable.
What would you say is your own personal staple accessory?
Jewellery; it can make or break an outfit, transform it from day to night and add a personal touch of flair to the most basic of ensembles.
