Gemma shares with us her obsession for rings, tea drinking and her rather large nail polish collection! Hi Gemma! Tell us about yourself, and what made you go into blogging? Hello, well I'm 24 and I am a freelance photographer from Birmingham who drinks a vast amount of tea. I got in to blogging to keep an online file of my life, one that would never get burnt in a fire or lost moving house. It is a great way to look back at great memories and share things I like with people who have similar interests as me. Tell us more about From Gem, With Love... It is generally a lifestyle blog, as I wanted to be able to cover all aspects and not be pigeon holed in to one particular genre. I tend to share a lot of my work, life and everything I love, admire and lust after. I honestly never know what I will want to post about next, so it is great that my readers enjoy everything from books to fashion to my complete ramblings. How do you typically accessorise yourself on an average day, and for an evening out? I love rings, in fact I think I have an obsession with rings. I like quirky/ethnic jewellery, I am especially loving the turquoise and silver/gold trend at the moment, great with a tan. (Jon Richard: We think Gemma would love our silver and turquoise rings from Simply Silver...) Describe your own personal style... I like to take 'trends' and make them my own, I really don't like looking like everyone else. Which sometimes it's hard with high street fashion, as every girl will love that one dress and all buy it. I always see fashion as how you wear something, not what you wear. So I tend to put my own spin on things, adding a belt or wearing tops over dresses. What would you say is your own personal staple accessory? A bag and nail polish, I am obsessed with changing them both to suit my outfit, i think i have 53 nail polishes now, and around 30 bags. I can't stop buying bags haha. I realy love Turquoise & Gold Stretch Bracelet by Matthew Williamson, Green Flower Ring by Jon Richard and Ethnic Turquoise Necklace by Matthew Williamson all beautiful pieces and great for spring/summer.
