Assistant Buyer

We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and fashion conscious experienced Assistant Buyer, based at our Head Office in South Manchester.

Jewellery or accessory experience is preferred but not an essential requirement.

From You

You must have/be:

  • Previous experience in an Assistant Buyer role – ideally 2 years
  • Must be computer literate with accurate and proficient keyboard skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be competent and efficient at keeping databases up to date
  • Be able to multi-task and work happily in a busy environment
  • Excellent organisation skills

The Role

The role will see you working across an exciting fashion jewellery area, working with our host store on designer collaborations.

You will need to be product driven, with a large amount of product and design development in the role, working alongside our in house design team.

You will be working alongside our buyer to meet set business KPI targets to drive sales and profitability.

There is the opportunity to further develop in this role with Far East travel and further career development.

Allocator

Jon Richard is a leading ladies’ jewellery brand, operating as a concession in over 140 department stores, throughout the UK, Republic of Ireland and the Middle East.

An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are now looking for an exceptional Allocator to join our fabulous team at our Head Office in South Manchester

From You

You will work with the team to ensure all stock is allocated to store, and stores receive correct levels of replenishment. You will support buying, merchandising and stores in producing sales reports, information booklets, and any other ad hoc tasks.

Duties will include:

  • Completion of Allocation Sheets in line with Allocation Schedule, to ensure 100% availability at launch.
  • Sending Allocation Sheets to the warehouse in line with Allocation Schedule.
  • Input replenishment minimums and maxes for all new products, making amendments to ensure 100% availability in all stores.
  • Maintaining library of replenishment grids.
  • Set up sale replenishment grids and amend in order to ensure full availability of sale product at event launch.
  • Answer store queries regarding stock and allocations.
  • Monitor store & warehouse stock levels on core lines in order to maintain 100% availability.
  • Suggesting repeats on lines where warehouse availability is decreasing.
  • Production of End Of Season Sale and Mid Season Sale booklets.
  • Ensure Event Forms for future promotions are forwarded to IT department in a timely fashion in line with Promotional Calendar.
  • Compile accurate out of stock lists, and weekly allocation lists for the newsletter.
  • Compile extra information for the newsletter, and notify Marketing in timely fashion.

You will have/be:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good numerical skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Highly organised
  • Able to prioritise/cope with time management
  • Able to work under pressure

A relevant fashion/merchandising degree and experience within a retail store environment would be advantageous.

Previous experience of working as an Allocator is preferred but not essential.

Visual Merchandising Manager

We are now looking for an exceptional Visual Merchandising Manager to join our fabulous Head Office team, based in South Manchester.

The Role Main duties, but not limited to:

  • Management of all store VM space
  • Create VM guidelines for UK, ROI and Middle Eastern stores.
  • Manage and ensure exact execution of the Visual Merchandising standards and guidelines.
  • Provide in store training, working with both Area and Concession Manager.
  • Carry out pre-season planning with the merchandising teams, reviewing space, sales and grading of all brands for all stores.
  • Management of the display budget, with regular review and adjustment.
  • Attend trade fairs to research, source and develop new display ideas/concepts,
  • Assist with the setup of any new concession installation or instore relocation.
  • Keep up-to-date on competitor analysis as well as current and upcoming fashion trends.

From You

We are looking for someone who will reflect a passion for our ladies jewellery. You will thrive off working in a bustling retail environment and have a creative flair for VM.

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail that has the ability to create concepts, plan and execute them to a high level. You must have a solid background in VM and have been working in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years.

There is a substantial about of travel involved in this role, so there must be a willingness to travel, with your own transport being available. Please note that this role will also involve international travel from time to time.
