Who inspires you & why?
My team inspire me every day. They are the most hard working, creative inspirational women I’ve ever worked with. Their drive and passion is infectious and I love working with every single one of them.
Who are your female icons?
One of my most favourite females is Phoebe Waller-Bridge, an incredible writer, she celebrates women and writes them in their entirety. She’s an extremely talented and inspiring woman.
My mum is my number one icon. She’s my world, my rock, an incredible woman who has made me the woman I am today.
What does International Women’s Day mean to you?
It’s a chance to celebrate progress and also acknowledge the journey. I think we should celebrate womanhood every day!
What are you most proud of doing?
I’m proud of how far I have come in my career and where I am today. Jon Richard is a really forward thinking company that is ran by women and I’m proud to be a part of that, hopefully making the next 35 years just as successful! I’m most proud of my son Aubin, despite his disability he has a smile on his face every day and beats the odds, he has made me a stronger woman and mummy.
What changes would you like to see to encourage women to pursue their dreams?
More businesses like Jon Richard that support women to pursue their dreams. It’s a family business that’s supportive of mums and their careers, there needs to be more of these in the industry!
