We are looking for an allocator, who will report to the Merchandiser.  Your role purpose will be to ensure all stock is allocated to store, and stores receive correct levels of replenishment. To support buying, merchandising and stores in producing sales reports, information booklets, and any other ad hoc tasks.

You Key Responsibilities will be:


Replenishment. Completion of Allocation Sheets in line with Allocation Schedule, to ensure 100% availability at launch. Send Allocation Sheets to warehouse in line with Allocation Schedule. Input replenishment minimums and maxes for all new products, making amendments to ensure 100% availability in all stores. Maintain library of replenishment grids. Set up Sale replenishment grids and amend in order to ensure full availability of sale product at event launch. Arrange manual allocations to specific stores in order to support sales. Answer store queries regarding stock and allocations


Monitor store & warehouse stock levels on core lines in order to maintain 100% availability. Suggesting repeats on lines where warehouse availability is decreasing. Answering queries relating to stock availability. Production of End Of Season Sale and Mid Season Sale booklets. Ensure Event Forms for future promotions are forwarded to IT Helpdesk in a timely fashion in line with Promotional Calender. Compile accurate out of stock lists, and weekly allocation lists for the newsletter. Compile extra information for the newsletter, and notify Marketing in timely fashion.


Update intake schedules on a weekly basis. Manage stock coming into the business chasing buying team, or freight forwarders when required

Planning and sales analysis

Production of Bestseller Reports every Monday. Communicate bestsellers to marketing, for inclusion in newsletter. The Role Dimensions – financial (e.g. budgets) and non-financial (e.g. customers/staff) Allocating stock to ensure sales plans are achieved. Monitoring intake to ensure availability is maintained, and sales plans are achieved. Production of sales reports, and markdown booklets. Communication with stores.
